nationwide push-to-talk iDEN service. At Sprint's Applied Research & Advanced Technology Labs
(AR&ATL) we continue this rich heritage of technology excellence and innovation. With research
in the areas of emerging wireless technology, security, multimedia and services, we are driving new areas of innovation. |

With a world class team of researchers and engineers, we have achieved new firsts, such as the industry's
first full bandwidth OC-192 packet monitoring, and developed patents in diverse areas of communications
from optical transport to traffic engineering. We work with other industry leaders to drive compelling
innovations in security, monitoring and wireless technologies. And through partnerships with academic
researchers, industry organizations and forums, Sprint AR&ATL is positioned to continue advancing the
state of the art in media communications. Sprint's labs are located in Burlingame, CA, Overland Park, KS,
and Sterling, VA.
